My First Romantic Novel Transcript
"The Visit"
It's about a man who happens to meet a lady friend from the past. There has always been a connection between them both that either have been able to explain. Neither of them acted upon it because they were both married at the time.
As circumstances changed, as they do in life, they communicate with each other via email and later over the phone, Eventually they both decide they want to meet face to face again. Then the love story begins.
Even though they live in different states, they grow closer together. There are past challenges they need to overcome in order to take the relationship to another level. While they both have had to endure the death of a child, he also has the additional baggage of enduring the death of his wife.
He works in the computer field and she is a manager in a large corporation. Both are very successful in their careers. But due to the distance they have between them, will they be able to set aside the hundreds of miles between each other so they can grow closer together in their budding relationship?
Can they overcome the obstacles that are embedded deep into their beings? Can they overcome and let go their past experiences so their relationship can be what each wants it to become? Will they both get what they are looking for in the end?
Here are some of the readers views that have read it during the editing stage.
1. It's more of true love story then just a romance book.
2. I'm upset at you at how it ended. How could you end it that way?
3. I couldn't put the book down!
4. I'd like to see this story made into a movie!
5. It takes me to a different place. It's relaxing to read and look forward to finishing it.
6. I couldn't put it down. I devoted part of my weekend to finish it!
7. It reminds me of Danielle Steel. Though no one writes like her, I would put it in the same category!
My Next Novel
"Solar Powered Device"
This story is about terrorists who have designed a bomb that is about the size of a audio cassette player. When detonated, it doesn't destroy any buildings, but wreaks havoc in far more destructive ways then every thought possible.
The first book of this trilogy is in the editing process. Books two and three are in the writing stage.
The release date for this series is slated for the summer of 2008!

Script Writing
I'm in the process of turning "The Visit" into a script. I'm using the program Final Draft 7 to create the first draft. It's very easy to use! You can get it at the link below.
