Here are some of the available resources when you need to search for addresses, etc. when using the Internet.

Global Incident Map has some locations where terrorism and other suspicious events have occured. Also included are the U.S. amber alerts. Click on the "Amber-Alert Map" tab at the bottom. Others maps include, 'Illegal Alien Activity", with "Outbreaks/Bird Flu", and "USA School Incidents" will be coming soon. Wow!

Gmaps Pedometer. This is mainly for those of you who are runners or running a marathon. You can map out your own course too. I didn't know this existed.

Map.com is a site where you can purchase some unique maps you might be looking for on the Web.

Maps On Us also includes a yellow pages area on their main page.

Microsoft Maps will prompt you to install "Virtual Earth".

Multimap has a map search feature. It includes Aerial and Hybrid. This site will allow you to search for gasoline stations, Wi-Fi hotspots, medical hospitals, parking, etc. It doesn't list them all. However, it might be helpful depending on what area you are in and if they are listed with this service. Click on the "business services" tab to find what businesses you might be looking for on this site. It might appear on their maps!

National Geographic Maps has some very interesting views of the whole world. Check it out!
